Two men have been charged in connection with an attempted bomb attack at a hotel that was due to hold a police recruitment day.
A bomb was found in the grounds of the Waterfoot Hotel in Londonderry in October, a week ahead of the event.
The hotel later cancelled the booking over safety fears.
The men, aged 34 and 41, are both from the Republic of Ireland but were detained in Omagh, County Tyrone.
They have been charged with possessing explosives with intent endanger life, preparing terrorist acts and conspiring to cause an explosion.
They are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
