Two British women barred from UK discrimination claim after US authorities insists it cannot be investigated over ‘breach of UK employment law’

Aside from her scientific achievements, she was committed to negotiating the moral and authorized implications of genetics research. Two years later, she went to the House of Lords as Baroness Thatcher. The first woman to carry the Order of Merit and appear on a UK banknote, Miss Nightingale was a nationwide treasure earlier than she was 40. Her pioneering work tending British troops within the Crimean War earned her the thanks of a grateful nation. The money raised in appreciation funded her nurses’ training college at London’s St Thomas’s Hospital, and from there her affect and ideas unfold worldwide.
