Eight years since he rose to fame after strumming his guitar on Dragon’s Den, Reggae Reggae Sauce creator Levi Roots has revealed plans to open his first restaurant in Stratford’s Westfield shopping centre.
Due to launch in November, it will be called Levi Roots’ Caribbean Smokehouse and has been developed in partnership with Las Iguanas co-founder Eren Ali.
Roots said: “Now that we have built such a strong reputation for the Levi Roots brand it feels like the right time to open a restaurant to give even more people the chance to enjoy genuine Caribbean cooking.”
